Marie-Gabrielle Rotie was one of several choreographers commissoned as part of a site-based project under the Artists Direction of Athina Vahla. She created a site-based promenade work with young dance students from Newham College and then also performed as part of work created by Athina and with dancers from Candoco Dance Company.

The work drew upon the rich history of trade, commerce and industry associated with the founding of the Royal Festival Hall post-war.
