Ledas Womb: collaboration with Yuliya Krylova at National Portrait Gallery 2013

Leda and the Swan: Marie-Gabrielle Rotie (solo) and Yuliya Krylova (costume) performed at the Sainsbury Wing, The National Gallery, London.  A short solo choreographed and performed by Rotie in a costume creation by Krylova, taking inspiration from Michelangelo’s painting of Leda and the Swan, and from the psychoanalytic concept of the phallic mother.

Shown as part of - Flight: Drawing Interpretations: Creative practitioners and researchers from the London College of Fashion, June 14th. Supported by UAL, and National Portrait Gallery.
